Good day!
A great day with Austin and Jerrie
today. Both are doing well and progressing nicely.
Thank you, God!
It's been an adrenaline pumped weekend like none since Jan 1986 when Doug was born.
There's NOTHING like it.
I plan to bring the rest of the new family home tomorrow.

baby alert!
we've been at the hospital since about 615 pm.
Not too much news yet. The hospital is very busy with babies tonight and is taking it very slowly.
Just monitoring so far. No meds.
They don't want too many moms in active labor till later.
Jerrie is having light, but regular contractions we can see on the monitor.
We slept for a few hours. Just waiting to hear what's next.

Fellow Craft

I can't believe how much work must go into preparing for a degree.
The guys did a GREAT job.
At the end of the month I'll go through another examination and hope to be "raised" to Master Mason.
It is really cool to be part of a great organization that's been around so long..even in it's present form. Not to mention the long history of Freemasonry.
You can really tell it was founded by some very intelligent men.
CAP

Got the "big promo" to Captain last night at the CAP squadron meeting.
May as well get used to that grade. I'll be there for the next 3 years.
Should have gotten the ECI13 class out of the way sooner, but with selling the old house and moving, etc, it kind of fell by the wayside!
What it really means is that you get to go out and spend a bunch of money on new uniform items!
Gas/ Ending Miles
The bank says only $1. Sometimes the credit card places only charge $1 the first day, maybe as an autorization check dealio.
Rode over to CAP and back last night and that was about it.
Ending miles last night:
92397: about 26 miles round trip

This weekend
Had a great barbecue lunch/dinner. Hung around till about 5:30 and headed home. Stopped at Pamida and picked a few good deals on baby clothes. Got home around 9pm I guess. Did a few things around the house and finally got to sleep around 1am I think. Kind of wound up I guess, even though it was 300 miles of driving and kind of a long day.
Paid for Saturday's energy expenditure today I guess.
Just taking it easy today. Checked out a new Chinese buffet for lunch today (in Richfield). Picked up a few good clearance items at RadShack.
Crystal and my mom were in town today for arts fairs. They stopped by tonight and we went over to Fireside for pizza. I had spaghetti though! Which was durned good. I need to have that again.
Tomorrow night it's my Fellowcraft Degree night at the lodge. Suppose I should go study a bit for that.
CAP on Tuesday night. A staff meeting, so I'd best try to get there.
Saints game on Thursday night.
Science museum on Friday night.
Party at Sean's house on Saturday night.
Kind of a big week coming up.

Technology
The next thing they want to do is make money with it.
Shortly after, they want to use it as a weapon.
People should stick with the first thought that comes to mind.
