Previous blog entry by Austin

Well, apparently Austin sent his first email and blog entry tonight. He was playing with my Treo and I now see that a blank blog entry came from my phone.

Not bad considering he had to unlock the keyboard to get the phone to do anything useful.

Austin

He was playing outside tonight a little.

I took a number of pictures in which the camera decided to focus on the grass and this was one that was half way decent. ARGH!

Here are some Videos from tonight as well:

Blackberry 8230 - Curve - TMObile

It's a pretty darn cool device!

Not quite as cool as the Treo for toys, but I gotta say it's VERY close and has a much better camera. The MP3 player equals the Treo as far as I can tell from minimal use so far.

The wi-fi connection is VERY cool. It's like having your own cell site (a VERY fast one) at home or WHEREVER there's Wi-fi...
This is good, since my Tmo coverage is NOT great at our house.

My BBerry is locked down somewhat by our BES server at work. (and since they ARE paying, I guess I can't complain).

But as an email/phone/PDA it can't be beat! I've had 3 blackberry models and they've all been workhorses! They JUST WORK and are intuitive (to me anyway)!

I'll still keep the Treo 650 for personal use, but the Curve is definitely my new work device!

Me

I feel old and fat tonight when I realize that 20 years have gone by in a flash.

In spite of that, I'm in a good mood!
:)

(smiling as I write this!).

What happened to the 80s? They are SO long gone.
And some of it is good riddance! Maybe that's why I'm smiling.
