Bike news on the "Little Wing"
Doug and Punky got the Little Wing running today (GL500 Silverwing). Punky had to re-do our carb job a little and do a better job on the idle jets and it started RIGHT up and ran great!
Doug got to put a few miles on it anyway before it was declared un-fit for much road riding due to poor tires. New tires are the next project.

Birthday party Saturday
Austin and Crystal’s birthday is next Saturday (25 August).
We’ll be having a party/open house thingy at Dad and Mom’s place on Saturday starting at noon for those that can make it.
Gifts NOT necessary..I’d just be glad to see a bunch of people there.
We’ll have lunch and cake.
Come anytime in the afternoon.

Yup…we were in Rochester for the DELUGE of rain.
It was a good weekend to stay inside…esp. Saturday night.
Crystal and Tim came down and stayed Sat. night. We went swimming with Austin and had FAR too much dinner at Billoti’s (which was GREAT food and cheap!)
Jerrie attended a writer’s conference on Saturday and turned Austin and I loose on northern Iowa and we went to a few parks, did some shopping and talking on the radio. AND we got to eat at Stan’s Drive-in in Osage!

SMS Messages...NOT PRIVATE.
You might want to be careful about what you send via SMS msgs. Either my carrier, SPRINT, or someone else on the SMS network decides to occasionally send other people's messages to me! And Sprint doesn't seem interested in doing anything about it.....worst of all is that I get CHARGED for them.
I've had a few interesting X-rated msgs come my way...and I know the phone numbers they came from. Delivered right to my phone!
So think twice about what you send.
And have a great day!
The cell phone carriers all suck...equally. That's what I tell people when they ask me what carrier to use. Pick one...it'll suck eventually.
