ti-light eyeglasses

If you are cruising the 'net looking for info about Ti-Light eyeglasses, please contact me.

I'll tell you my thoughts on them (and Pearle Vision).

The Ti-Light frames may or may not be OK, but I'm not too happy with Pearle Vision's support of them.

It has been five weeks since I ordered T.I. Light rimless frames at Pearl Vision Center, and they still have not gotten my order right. The first pair were a week late and one of the lenses was already scratched when I went to pick them up. They had never called me to say that they were ready, I had to call to find out that "we just got them and are finishing up on them". This was on a Sunday, I doubt they were delivered that day. They must have known about the scratched lens (it was a big scratch) but probably thought I'd be happier to wear them while new lenses were ordered.

I then found out later that they were not the Transition lenses that I had ordered. So they ordered new lenses to replace the scratched set, and again never called me when they came in, I had to call 2 weeks after ordering to find out that again, "we are just finishing them".

To top it off, they revealed before I picked them up that they had again scratched the lens (this time right after mounting). They also forgot that I was already wearing the intended frames with the first set of lenses (the new lenses were supposed to be put in while I waited). So I left with a second scratched pair in the wrong frames. I told them to wait before ordering the third set of lenses, because I should find out if I liked Transitions lenses (this is my first pair) before they have a non-scratched set made. And the mounting on this frame didn't look as good as the first pair. Some of the clear plastic grommets were flattened along the top, so they were not circular. I wonder how long they would hold.

Not a very good experience at all.
